Our vision

Our vision in Afrikanet GoSat Cameroon is to contribute to the social and economic development of Cameroon as a whole by providing high-quality, high-speed connectivity everywhere in urban and rural areas and at a very affordable price. We work with local partners, telecommunication companies or service providers and also all players in the Digital world.

A high-quality Internet connection is an undeniable development factor, wherever it happens, especially in rural areas where it unlocks populations and connects them to the rest of the world in a single click.

All entrepreneurs and economic players, regardless of their field, will be opened to the hoped for growth as soon as they reach broadband … and the emergence so desired will be within everyone’s reach.

Unlike other existing technologies that use ADSL, Fiber or WiMax terrestrial networks, GoSat << comes from above >> and does not depend on any terrestrial infrastructure before arriving in your companies, schools, Farms, hospitals, home, and so on … so that you can connect with the world wherever you are in Cameroon. Our first deployment covers the coastal, western, southwestern and northwestern provinces this year. It will extend in 2019 throughout the national territory.

Partner companies with 40 years of technical expertise and world leader in this field are now associated with GoSat Cameroon in this race to reduce the digital divide in Africa and mainly in rural areas where live more than 600 million people .

Who are we?

A dynamic and ambitious company, we are born of the collaboration of two great leaders in the broadband Internet market: Konnect Africa and Afrikanet. Benefiting from the support of Eutelsat, the world leader in satellite communications, by 2019, it aims to cover more than 20 countries in Africa in all locations with very high bandwidth without compromising on quality, with its experience in more than 150 countries around the world.
As a first step with broadband technology in Francophone Africa, starting with Cameroon, we allow all and above all economic players to no longer consider the quality of their Internet connection as a luxury. It is now there and accessible to all, or you are, in our first areas of coverage.
Afrikanet GoSat Cameroon has set up a distribution network based in Douala, based on clusters distributed geographically on points of the territory and a mobile DP network (Demonstration Point) to meet the points served to show economic players These regions how to connect.
